In this novella, a man named Dan Price drowns, and then Alec quits his job. With all this free time, he watches a nonsensical, upside-down television show, and he becomes obsessed with it, while the internet ignores the show's existence. This sends him in search of something more.
In this novella, I write a sad story about someone who is lost, who thinks they're maybe close to being found. He isn't someone you would necessarily want to be, but he lives with a peculiar optimism and hope — if you look close enough. The story doesn't apologize for him or endorse anything he does. It just puts you in his head, so you can see his life his way.
